A journey of two decades, transformed by the power of collective compassion and unwavering dedication.

Since 2003

Founded in 2003, Deepti Foundation began its journey with a commitment to improving the lives of people infected and affected by HIV/AIDS. Guided by the values of compassion, dignity, and inclusive service, the Foundation initially focused on HIV/AIDS awareness, treatment support, counselling, and community care for vulnerable women and children.

Over the years, Deepti Foundation expanded its mission to address the broader needs of marginalized communities. Through Deepti Ashram in Najafgarh, the Foundation provides care, education, nutrition, healthcare, and higher education support to HIV-affected children and children from rag-picking families. The establishment of Gyan Sarovar and Child Resource Centres has enabled hundreds of children from underserved communities to access education and build a brighter future.

Recognizing the importance of empowering women, the Foundation introduced Self-Help Groups, vocational training programmes, and livelihood initiatives that promote entrepreneurship and economic independence. The Foundation also extends its services through rehabilitation and de-addiction programmes, community awareness initiatives, nutritional support, and social welfare interventions.

Today, Deepti Foundation serves children, women, youth, families, and vulnerable individuals across multiple communities. With a strong commitment to social justice and human dignity, the Foundation continues to create opportunities for education, empowerment, rehabilitation, and sustainable development, helping people lead lives of dignity, hope, and self-reliance.
